Jyothi Menon is currently Senior Vice President and Head of the HR Shared Services at Standard Chartered Bank based out of Chennai. Jyothi has been in the realm of HR for 15 years. She has held various leadership roles in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Development, Employee Relations, Retention, Performance Management, Rewards & Recognition, Statutory Compliance and Compensation & Benefits. Prior to SCB, she was Head of HR for an Aditya Birla Group Company, Transworks based out of Bangalore. Jyothi led the overall HR, Admin and PR initiatives for Lason India as Vice President People Practice. Jyothi was heading HR and Admin for Computer Associates in India. Jyothi has also worked with companies like HTC, Mastech and AGCO. |

Jyothi's first book "The power of Human Relations" was published by Pearson in June 2004 and had the foreword written by Mr.Kiran Karnik, President Nasscom. The book was officially launched by Mr.Subroto Mazumdar, President Pearson and Mr. Vivek Harinarain, IT Secretary for Tamilnadu. It found an avid reader in the Honorable President of India, Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam,among others.
Impressed by a statement in the book on "creating a brand of an organization", the President sent Jyothi a note, providing the inspiration for her second book. Aptly named Brand-Wise, it was published by East West Publications and launched by Dr. Vijay Govindarajan, the internationally acclaimed guru of Global Strategies from the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth, USA at a 'Global BPO Vision and Book Launch' function, in Chennai on 12th January. The foreword has been written by Mr. Vivek Harinarain, IT Secretary, State of Tamil Nadu.
The third book ME, a Winner was launched in March 2006. This book was launched by Mr. Dayanidhi Maran - ex Union Minister of Communications and IT.
The Angel of God, published by Pustak Mahal and sold by Landmark Ltd. The book was launched by Ranjini Manian, CEO, Global Adjustments. |
